FRIDAY'S FORECAST
The weather will be mostly dry, hazy and hot around the Western Carolinas with high pressure in control. Only mountain top storms will be possible in the afternoon. Highs will be close to 90 around the Upstate with middle 80s in the mountains. The upper level high pressure area will build over the region on Saturday, ensuring haze and above average temperatures. Wear sunscreen if you will be spending any time outdoors, and be aware that air quality could be a concern as light winds fail to disperse pollution. Memorial Day will be mostly, and there will be scattered storms returning by Tuesday.
